Statement: “Shadow Work” is about exploring and accepting the dark side of the self. This process is necessary in order to avoid total consumption by the shadow self. I’m of the mind that although shadow energy cannot be ultimately destroyed, we have the power to transform it into something more redemptive and useful. Finally, the darkness within us is not something to fear, but something to try to understand.
